Why He Competes
I compete because I have a love for sports. I also like challenging myself to see how much better I can get.
In the Classroom
My favorite subject is math. I am a problem solver and math present a challenge where there is simply a right or wrong. There's no in between.
Training Habits
Being a two sport athlete there isn't an off season. I am conditioning daily. Wrestling helps me mental toughness and discipline. while baseball helps me coordination and quickness.
Family
I am blessed to come from a two parent household with loving and supportive family. My family has always encouraged me to work hard, stay grounded, and take advantage of every opportunity. They support me in academics, athletics, and everything I pursue while also holding me accountable to be my best.
Community
I volunteer with community food programs that serve thousands of families, helping pack and distribute food. I also mentor young boys in reading and participate in senior community visits through my school. My volunteer work has also led to summer employment for the past two years.
Favorite Sports Memory
My favorite sports memory was winning my first overtime match for first place at a wrestling tournament. My opponent was ranked 13th in the state, and I secured the first takedown in overtime to win the match.
